Rachel's - Music for Egon Schiele

This band is listed as Post-Rock but i don't really see it. There isn't any "rock" on the album, just really cinematic piano and strings. A very good fall album. For fans of Dirty Three, Library Tapes etc.

Pretend - Bones in the Soil, Rust in the Oil

Very new band, their first formal release. Found them on a forum a while back, and was stuck with only the two tracks on their myspace until now. Very intricate guitar melodies and some of the best drumming i've heard in a while, with interspersed soft/pretty vocals.

M83-Saturdays=Youth

This album is straight out of a john hughes film.  Anthony Gomez specifically wrote this album intended to sound like a teen film from the 80's and it's right on spot.  This is all I've really been listening to so i be uploadin dat.
